#1 Grind Dry Food Our #1 Grind Dry Food is a fine first food for larger livebearer fry such as mollies. We also use it to feed the fry of rainbowfishes and other egglayers with very small fry, the fry of smaller livebearers such as swordtails and platies once they have out grown #1/2 Grind Dry Food. We also feed it to the fry and juveniles up to 2" of cichlids and to adult livebearers of all kinds. It is designed as a full diet for all fish, but we still recommend supplemental feedings of live foods. #1 Grind floats only a short time before slowly drifting down through the water column.
